Still time to help out!

Thanks so much to all of you who donated to the March of Dimes at our last meeting. The money is being donated through the team that both Tiffany and I will be walking with. So many babies with both heartbreaking and uplifting stories are represented on our team.

If you would like to donate, I've posted a link in the sidebar that will take you to my donation page. Due to sign in requirements, I'm only able to access my personal page for this and not the team's, but the money all goes to the March of Dimes. The donations received Friday night are not reflected on my page.

Every dollar can make a difference, so please consider making a donation. See the previous post for more info on March of Dimes.

Thanks for helping this worthy cause!
-Michelle

March of Dimes

I wanted to let you know that we will have a donation basket at our meeting on Friday in support of March of Dimes. The March of Dimes is inspired by all babies — those born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive. Together they make up the millions of reasons behind the urgent mission of the March of Dimes, whose research and programs mean more babies are born healthy every day.

There are various walks coming up in our area, with the goal to get all babies off to the best start in life: to raise money that helps the March of Dimes find answers and solutions to premature birth and other infant health problems. By donating, you too can make a difference in the health of babies, and give hope to their families. For more information on the March of Dimes mission, please visit marchofdimes.com. One day, all babies will be born healthy, but we have to walk to get there!

Every dollar can make a difference, so please consider making a contribution to this great cause. A basket will be located at the check-in table.

Summer Picnic at Idlewild

Wednesday, June 17
Park open 10:30am-8pm
Join us at the #2 Best Kid's park in the world as rated by Amusement Today for a day of fun with your family. Your preschooler will enjoy the many areas suited for just their age. In Storybook Forest, they can meet their favorite characters from nursery rhymes and children's tales. In Raccoon Lagoon, they will enjoy the ride area designed for younger guests as well as pony rides, children's shows and Mister Roger's Neighborhood of Make-believe. Jumpin' Jungle has a huge ball pit, net climb, swinging bridge and the Soak Zone has a beautiful pool, thrilling waterslides and a water play area for the little ones. There are also 14 major rides including two roller coasters for the older kids. We will have a pavilion reserved where you can eat lunch or take a little break from the day. Pre-order your tickets at this Friday's meeting and pay only $13.50 per ticket for ages 3 and up(a $2 discount off the already low group rates). And, if you should happen to not be able to make it on June 17th, the tickets are still good any weekday over the summer. Contact Kristen Gratton with questions at kgratton@discovertogether.com or 724.513.9911.
**Tickets will also be available at our MOPS meeting in May for $15.50 each. **

Moms’ Night Out– Keno Night: Sunday, May 3, 6:30 pm to ?
Join us for a game night at Jen Scheib's home in Economy! Keno could not be easier---it's just like Bingo, but you draw playing cards instead of balls. But to add to the fun, everyone should bring a $10 value wrapped gift. As you win ("Keno!"), you'll get to choose or steal gifts, but, in the end, everyone will leave with something. Gifts can be anything up to a $10 value, such as gift cards, candles, tea towels, kitchen utensils, a bottle of wine, etc., and must be wrapped. You will also be asked to bring an appetizer or dessert to share. We will gather before the first round for appetizers and drinks, play a round of keno, and then break for dessert before the final round. It's guaranteed to be a great night! Please RSVP by Sunday, April 26th to shortscheib@yahoo.com.
