Ever think about homeschooling?

North Hills Christian Homeschoolers emailed this information to us today:

North Hills Christian Homeschoolers will hold an open house information session on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7pm at Ascension Lutheran Church on 8225 Peebles Rd. in McCandless, 15237.

This evening is designed for those who are considering homeschooling, new to homeschooling, new to homeschooling in Pennsylvania (as in recently moved here), or registering for the first time.

This meeting will cover numerous topics, including Pennsylvania's homeschool law, various organizations to assist homeschoolers, educational philosophies, curriculum resources, library resources, various educational opportunities for homeschoolers and more. We will have a question and answer session and numerous resources on hand. Welcome Packets will be handed out as well. Light refreshments will be served. No child care provided.
